Gov. Fallin Statement on Kelvin Droegemeier's Confirmation to be President's Top Science Adviser

Governor Mary Fallin today issued this statement on University of Oklahoma meteorologist Kelvin Droegemeier, who has served on her executive Cabinet since March 2017 as secretary of science and technology, being confirmed Wednesday night as director of the Office of Science and Technology:

"Dr. Droegemeier is a leading expert in the science and engineering research fields, as well as in the education community. Kelvin has used his skills and his broad depth of knowledge to create new partnerships to benefit all of Oklahoma, and he will do the same on the national level. He is widely respected as a leader on both the local and national levels, especially in encouraging relationships among industry, academia, and government."
